What is life coaching?

We all have really high highs, but also devastating lows. That is life. There are many factors we cannot control, and sometimes our routine does not let us identify clearly what those are and where we could be if “things” were just different. If you find yourself wondering, what could be better? Have I reached my full potential? How do I build the life I dream about? Then, you’re not alone. These crucial moments keep us from our goals, and the turmoil seems to just never end. A life coach can help you clear the path, identify your present assets, and liabilities, and create a short-term plan to achieve long-term happiness.

Together, we will identify what’s holding you back and expand your perspective, by creating changes to leave behind the stickiness and help you pick up your slack. After all, we only live once! With my help you will embrace the present and get closer to your true potential.

How Life Coaching Works

Life coaching is a set number of sessions that focus on the here and now, what can you do now to help you move towards a brighter future. You may already know what’s causing those feelings of unease, but if not, we will identify that together through a process of self-discovery. With my help you will acquire insight and tools to help you work towards your goals. You can be in control of yourself, but there are external factors we cannot control, factors that with my help you can learn to work through and grow from.

Unlike therapy, life coaching focuses on the present and the future, not the past.  We will pursue a growth mindset, establish steps for behavioral changes and accountability checkpoints to help reinforce new paths. Out with the old, in with the new. Unlike therapy, we will not wonder why, instead, we will be pragmatic and practical by setting and achieving short-term goals for long-term success.

Our 8-10 sessions will be a process of self-discovery, be prepared to have homework, to be challenged, to have fun, to be held accountable, to do the work that will change your life for the better. As your life coach I will be your biggest cheerleader, empowering and encouraging you along this journey. I will do my best to help you recognize your potential, so you can use that as a starting point towards your new life.

  • Your individual plan will consist of 8-10 sessions of self-discovery, be prepared to have homework, to be challenged, to have fun, to be held accountable, and to do the work that will change your life for the better.

  • Life Coaching is not a service covered by health insurance. Payment can be made through Zelle, Venmo, or Apple Pay. Please be aware 50% for the total number of sessions is required before our first session.

  • No, at this moment all sessions are offered through videoconference. While we will not be together in person, I do require we meet through video chat and that you are fully available during our time, no distractions.
